London Fashion Week Fall 2023

I had the honor of experiencing London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2023 as both a backstage volunteer and an attendee. I assisted backstage for the Claudia Wang and Indonesia Now runway shows and attended shows presented by Fashion Scout, 13DE MARZO, and Hector Maclean.

Indonesia Now 2023 (Backstage)

I assisted backstage as a dresser for the Indonesia Now Fall 2023 catwalk show highlighting six Indonesian designers. As a dresser, I was assigned to dress two models with two looks each. Following the dresser notes, I was tasked with dressing and changing models before and during the show in a timely manner. Additionally, I ensured the preservation and aesthetics of the garments by steaming and organizing the apparel and accessories.

I familiarized myself with the dresser notes to efficiently and correctly dress the models.

Claudia Wang 2023 (Backstage)

I assisted backstage at the Claudia Wang Show A/W 2023 at the Tate Modern Museum in London. My tasks included ordering food for over 50 members of the show team, directing team members to the backstage area, and notifying models about the shoot day schedule.

Attending LFW 2023

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience as an audience member at London Fashion Week. I attended five shows and am grateful to have learned runway show etiquette, met other London fashion-enthusiasts, and viewed the innovative fashion designs of the season.
